Starting in November of 2013, I worked as an Assistant Web Developer at Design By Kiltz Internet Solutions. In 2014 I was promoted to Lead Web Developer. I made more than forty websites, ranging from very basic to complex CMS and E-commerce together. I took on every project with determination to make it the best that it could be with the budget that was allowed. I take pride in all my work, and I enjoy what I do.
Before my employment at Design By Kiltz Internet Solutions, I spent 2 years at Rogue Community College, studying Web Design and Web Development and graduated in June of 2013 with an AAS degree in Web Development and also certificates in both Web Development and Web Design. I enjoyed everything that I learned, and I feel I have applied my new skills very well in the working world. I am confident that Web Development is the best career path for me.
I can design, build, maintain or update web sites, using authoring and scripting languages such as HTML, JavaScript, PHP, CSS, JQuery , and content creation tools such as Dreamweaver and Sublime, management tools such as Laravel and GitHub, and digital media tools such as Photoshop and Flash. I can evaluate code to ensure that it is valid, is properly structured, meets industry standards and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems.
I am conventional, investigative, and realistic. I like to meet goals in a timely manner by organizing my work, prioritizing, choosing the best plan to complete the task and researching and implementing strategies to complete the task correctly. I like to exceed what has been asked of me, and feel accomplished with finished products.
My work experience prior to my re-engineering my life has consisted mostly of manufacturing and inventory control. What I have gained from my past work experience and can transfer into my new career is my work ethics such as being loyal to employers or clients, consistently producing awesome work, having a sense for meticulously troubleshooting errors and fixing them permanently, effectively provide information to increase productivity, dependability, innovation, high integrity, taking the initiative, being flexible, and being able to productively work independently.
Thank you for taking the time to look through my resume, I hope to hear from you soon.

Several Positions with local businesses
Before my new venture in Web Design and Development, I worked the past 14 years for a few local Grants Pass businesses, holding a variety of positions ranging from production work in electronic manufacturing to inventory control and on up to things like cost estimating. I always put my best into every job I did and my employers appreciated my attention to detail, excellent attendance, ability to take on new tasks, and completing projects and assignments quickly. My work experience has allowed me to see how a company works from several different views and I plan to utilize that knowledge to create custom websites for companies that will best represent them on the internet.
“Amy did a fantastic job working with the APICS Southern Oregon Chapter in developing our web page www.soapics.org and created a great platform to engage our membership. She is an effective designer and project manager. I would highly recommend her.”
“Amy worked for me at Met One Instruments for 4 1/2 years ending in September of 2010 in the capacity of Lead. I found her to be very reliable and detail oriented. She was always on top of her game and made every effort to make sure things were done neatly, correctly and on time. She did a great job with her record keeping and was a true asset to our production team.”
